First Impression, First Day Formalities, Infrastructure
I had to report on the day of reporting with a copy of my bonafide letter and on reaching office I signed on the attendance register after which I was assigned a field work research. I was working directly under the director of NCPCR.
On the same day I had to visit a police station. I didn’t spent much time in office. Though the office environment was full of positivity and infrastructure was also good they had a separate library.
Main Tasks
We were given field work on missing children so we need to visit 5 police station in different regions of Delhi and interact with their respective family to further interrogate with them and know the actual reasons behind their missing.
Work Environment and People
Though we didn’t get much time to stay in office but whenever we did the office environment was positive cooperative and all our seniors and other colleagues were always eager to help.
Best Things
Well the best part was the internship project itself we got to learn the ground realities about the working of police and other authorities.
In office the best part was the library because we got all the relevant material there.
Bad Things
Well everything was perfect, if only something was missing was the limited number of computer systems in the office.
Stipend
We got a stipend of Rs. 5000/-
Biggest Lessons
We learnt a lot from this internship, all the ground realities working of administrative systems and also learned drafting of legal documents.
Any Other Thing
Any civil service aspirant should always do such internship to get the insight of actual working of administration.
