First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

Office was located right next to the International Airport at Chennai. Legal Department was a section in the over administrative headquarters. I was given my own cabin the first day.

There were 7 people working in the legal department. Gives a hi-tech government office feel. Centralised AC system (must in the Chennai summer heat).

Main tasks

Main tasks involved legal vetting, scrutinising and drafting various contracts of the AAI.

Work environment and people

Totally friendly people. The head of the legal department, our boss assigned the work to me and patiently explained how vetting of files is to be done. I had to submit a report at the end of my internship in an article format.

Best things

Chilled out internship. Easy work. Understanding boss.

Bad things

Travelling in local trains and buses was irksome especially in summer.
