There were no formalities as such and simply had a brief introduction with the associates and the managing partner, Mr. Rajiv Shukla.
On my first day I was asked by one of the associates to read a file and find judgments pertaining to a legal issue involved therein.
Main tasks
The main task assigned to an intern is research work and drafting. The firm deals with vast areas of litigation such as Labour laws, Arbitration matters, Family matters, IPR, Real estate issues etc.
As an intern, mostly I was given research work pertaining to different matters. However, I was eventually assigned with drafting work which included drafting notices, NI complaints and was lucky enough to get a chance to draft High Court appeal as well.
Apart from research work and drafting, there were court visits to almost all district courts, various tribunals, High Court and Supreme Court of India. On Saturdays there were generally no court visits so we were supposed to report office directly.
Work environment, people
One of the best things about this firm is its working environment. The associates are extremely helpful and friendly.
One can approach them any time without any hesitation. Rajiv Sir himself takes out his valuable time to interact with the interns and even assigns them work if needed. The staff is also nice and cooperative.
Best things?
Lot of research work which will help you strengthen your research skills.
Good Drafting Work.
Best working environment

Great learning experience
Another best thing about the firm is that it has a homely touch to it where everyone during the lunch hour gather together, share food and interact with each other!
Bad things?
Trust me, Nothing is bad about this place!
