First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office is located in Bengali Market. The office is small with a clerk and two partners.
First day I was just given a desk and asked to wait until they returned from the court. I couldn’t go since I didn’t had a pass for the Supreme Court.
Jain Singh and Co. is a start up. They basically assist other senior advocates in Supreme Court and High Court.
Main tasks
Some research. Otherwise, very little work for the interns.
Moreover the courts got closed after a couple of days for the summer break. So I was left with no work after a point of time.
Work environment and people
Their clerk is the only person you can talk with. The seniors were mostly busy.
