Application Process
Its tough to get internship as there is very less openings for interns and they are flooded with interns but the lawyer there Mr. Ahmed Raza is a great and kind person if you insist him in person then he will sure accept it.
I made a call to him and he told me to send my CV to hrln’s email id-: ranchi@hrln.org and to come and meet.
My application was accepted in person there itself.

2nd January, 2015 to 7th February, 2015
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office is basically a 2 BHK flat and quite old.
First day was little boring as there was no one to give the work because sir was busy.
Main tasks
There was a lot of tasks to do there. first few days were boring as sir gave us a task to write few articles of women and child, after 3,4 days the real work started.
We researched on demolition of slums in Jharkhand, we did a fact finding on pollution by various companies in Kathara, Bokaro and I made an report of that. This work was real fun and was appreciated by people, we also conducted fact finding and prepared an report of torture of child labour.

Work environment and people
People were very nice and helpful. Two of them were young lawyers from whom we learnt many things.
The office was in main town so it was easy to find many Food joints for the lunch and that area had a lot of street food vendors sells various kinds of food.
Best things
Everything there was best as it was an NGO the was also very interesting. Mr Raza was very nice person. After this internship I was a changed man.
Bad things
Except the poor internet connection everything was good.

Biggest Lessons
Work is the essence of life.
Any Other Thing
Mr. Raza is still in contact with me and ready to help anytime. Interning here was one of the best part of my life.
