Timings were flexible, depended on the day.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office is small but neat and easily accommodates the two lawyers.
Both lawyers are extremely friendly and easy to approach.
Main tasks
Good internship to do in your first year.
Your main tasks are to watch court proceedings are read whatever the lawyers ask you to read.
Work environment and people
Extremely friendly and approachable lawyers.
They are quite young and share a lot of their early experiences with you.
Best things
You get a taste of different kinds of litigation.
Bad things
Can’t think of any.
Stipend
None.
Biggest Lessons
Litigation involves a lot of running around courts when you just set up your own firm.
It gives you a lot of freedom, but all the “intellectual work” is only once you become a senior lawyer and you have juniors doing all the running around for you.
