Application Procedure

I sent my application for application with my CV and proper cover letter (they are very particular about language and format) in mid of October 2015 to their HR team mail id – capstone@capstonelegal.in

They didn’t reply for my 1st email so i sent a reminder email for which they replied me on 7th December, 2015 asking for a suitable time for a telephonic interview.

Vagish Singh sir took my telephonic interview and asked 3-4 questions relating to my past internship experiences and tort law.

I joined the office on 8th December 2015. 

Duration and timings

8th December 2015- 8th January 2016 (4 weeks)

10:00 am to 8:00 pm (it depends on the work). We were supposed to attend court then go to the office in Mansarovar. [53/203, VT Road, Mansarovar, Jaipur]

Punctuality is expected from the interns.

Number of interns

I am not sure about the correct number but the usual intake should be 3-5 interns at a time.

First day, first impression

I was told to report to the office at 10:00 am.

There are two partners and both are NLSIU, Bangalore pass outs.

They gave me a case file to read, research and understand on the legal provisions mentioned in it.

Basic familiarization with the work environment.

The work environment is very cooperative.

The partners are very dedicated and diligent in their working and they expect the same from the interns as well.

Main tasks

The firm is majorly engaged in litigation. Mainly drafting of applications, letters, replies, notices,case notes, case briefs and research work is given to the interns.

The inters are given files to read and then research on the relevant legal provisions with case laws.

Best things

The partners of the firm are very cooperative and helpful with interns. The main thing which i learned there is that understanding and analyzing of the concepts of law is the most important thing.

Bad things

Not even 1 thing. The firm is just perfect for any law student to intern.
