I applied through the mail provided on the website of wordict ip website. In the website, there is an option for applying for an internship.
First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
The formalities are we should reach the office at that time. The office timings are 9: 30 AM to 6:30 PM. We should maintain the black and white dress code.
On the first day when I reached the office, Ashok Ram Kumar sir, who is the head the Firm and a senior Attorney who mainly deals the IPR cases, he took me to the court and shown the court environment and how court proceedings are going on.
In the afternoon we reached the office, then I was given the work to do research on the IPR. He asked me to make a PPT on the same.
Main task
This firm mainly deals with patents and trademarks. I have given the task to fill the trademark hearings dates for a given list of applied trademarks. After that, I was asked to prepare the affidavits for the above trademark list.
Good things
As Ashok Ram Kumar sir is the brand ambassador to ICFAI college, I have got the chance to attend the workshop that was conducted by the college and the sir was called as the guest lecturer of the workshop for the demonstration of the patents.
