How did you apply?
I applied through by sending a mail to the organisation after about 10 days later I got the confirmation email. you can also go to the NGO directly , give cv and ask for the internship.
First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
On the first day, they give the book which is related to the NGO work also they give a book of newspaper cutting in which NGO achievement is given. There are around 6 people are there in NGO.
Main tasks
It basically works on child helpline 1098. Our main work is to go for outreach and find children. Then take to the police station, then to the child welfare committee (CWC) also if any child founded by any person then go to that place bring the child to the office then try to find child parents.
Good things
Working under this ngo I got to know the condition of poor children who beg in the street, also feeling which you get when you help the child to get to know his address and return the child to their parents.

No stipend is given by the ngo
Accommodation
My hometown is Kanpur so I have not taken any pg.
Anything else
I got the opportunity to go to many police station around Kanpur which I think is a good thing for being a law student to know how police work.
Also, keep your fuel tank full because you will go to many places during the internship period. we go to the child home(shelter), child welfare committee, police station, go to a college in Kanpur Dehat to celebrate Subhash Jayanti also goes to DM office. Many other law school students such as RGNLU, HPNLU, BHU, Delhi University student were present at that time so I made new friend also.
