First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
Since it is a litigation firm, office work is done in the evenings from 6 into the night. You will be required to go to court in the morning.
The office is situated in a residential colony, above the house of the head of the firm so, the environment is very cosy. You sit with other interns around a conference table and the working environment is very eased out.
Kind of work you get depends on you and you receive ample support from the associates and the head of the firm, Mr Mohit Singhvi.
Main Tasks
Most of the work involved research on different litigation matters and drafting of notices and replies.
The quality of work is great and you get good exposure to a wide variety of issues. In my one month, I dealt with contract, evidence, labour and tax law issues to name a few. You may also get an opportunity to draft writs, which will be a big learning experience.
Most importantly, since everybody in the firm is a first-generation lawyer and quite young, they themselves are eager to teach and often learn along with you.

Accommodation, commuting to the office
I am a resident of Jodhpur so stayed at my home. The office is a little far from the city centre. Food-wise, everybody gets tea and snacks from Mohit sir’s home and the associates often take you out to dinner.
