Email: info[at]thesatyavidhi.com
Landline Number: 0265-2324828/0265-2324829
In addition to this, I had a meeting with the Team Head for the confirmation of the internship.
First day formalities, infrastructure
On my first day, I was introduced to all the team members and was eventually allotted basic research work. The office is well-designed and spacious. It is located on the ground floor, therefore, easily accessible.
Main tasks
Primarily, I was involved in research work and attending court and office regularly to assist in drafting litigation/court matters and transactional documents also.
I was also given the opportunity of mentioning to the Judges and taking dates for the next hearing.
Good things
The entire team of associates was very friendly and cooperative throughout the internship. The office has AIR and SCC volumes in hardcopy, which makes it easier to refer to cases.
Apart from this, the team head makes for a great conversationalist; I have learnt some of the very important life lessons from him. In addition, there is a practice of praying every day before beginning the work.
Bad things
There is no WiFi and no AC in the area of the office where the associates have their desks. Air Conditioner is available only in Sir’s Cabin and the Conference Room.
Stipend
There is no stipend.
Accommodation, commuting to the office
It is my hometown, therefore there was no issue of accommodation. However, there are several PGs available around the area. I commuted by a two-wheeler or rickshaw, as it is located at an easily accessible place, and it is close to the Court as well.
Anything else, what you did to chill out, lessons learnt
On the route between the Court and the Office, there are several food joints where we used to hang out after the internship. From this internship, I have learned the value of time and the need for punctuality. For future applicants, this is a caveat. Kindly use ‘Namaste’ to greet sir, either in person or on texts/emails.
