First Day Formalities Initial Impressions
On the first day when I reached there, enrolled my name by giving a fee of 500 rupees. The introduction was given to the internship coordinator. Followed by Chairman lecture giving full insight into the organisation.
Main Tasks
Field visit to Van Gujjar People residing in the locality, research and making presentations, case reading, different administrative work were provided
Good Things
The working environment was smooth and friendly. The Chairman himself gives a lecture and make interns understand about human rights of indigenous people, environmental issues of the region and country, eco-system of the valley.
Bad Things
The field visit was little bit difficult but reality-based knowledge accompanied.

Accommodation and Commute
I lived in a nearby area of NGO and the place was good. However, NGO provides dormitory along with fooding so one can rely on that.
Other Info
Dehradun is a wonderful city to hangout. We went to Mussorie just 30km away, Forest Reserves of India, Haridwar few hours journey if one wish to dive in spirituality and many more.
