First Day Formalities Initial Impressions
The office was situated in Express Tower, Nariman Point. You have to report to the Office by 9:30 A.M. and can leave anytime after 6:30 P.M. depending on the work.
You are not allowed to bring your personal laptops into Office. You will be asked to give your details first. Though there is no formal introduction, details of a new intern will be circulated through mail to all associates and partners. The Firm is mainly a litigation firm. The Firm handles civil, commercial, real estate and securities matters.
Main Tasks
The tasks which I mainly got was research work. During the course of my Internship, I researched on Insider Trading, Maharashtra Co-op Housing Society, SARFESI Act, IBC, FSA Act, Arbitration and Conciliation Act, property law, Civil Procedure Code, Indian Succession Act, Labour Law, Intellectual Property
I was asked to research extensively on Red-Corner Notice, Look-Out Circulars and was asked to prepare notes with case laws on them. Drafting synopsis and Writing articles.
Good Things
You get work from all teams. Associates were approachable and helpful. Good Working environment.
Bad Things
There were days when you were not given any work. Being a Final year student I was expecting more of Drafting work, which wasn’t given. Very few court visits.

I stayed in an independent room in Girgaon Chowpatty and commuted daily in BEST.
Other Info
Parinam Law opened in December-2018 and has a lot of scope for growth. I went out for lunch and tea with co-interns every day for chilling. The lesson that I learnt was You still have a lot to learn.
