First Day Formalities Initial Impressions
Since I worked directly under Mr Asit Kumar Roy, Legal Head of the firm, I had to be more disciplined and particular about my formals.
Mr Asit Kumar Roy has his chamber in Saket District Court. (No. 413, Lawyer’s block). I got the opportunity to meet him and we had a small interaction inside his chamber.
He asked me to explore Saket district court after that he asked me about the jurisdiction of the judges present in the court, thereafter he gave me a file to read and asked me to identify the question of law in the case.
Main Tasks
Working in Legum Consultants generally includes drafting, research and advisory on civil as well as criminal matters. The firm work includes civil and criminal matters, Companies Act, consumer protection, arbitration matters and corporate law.
You may even be asked to deal with a client first hand and understand the case. In the course of work done, sir would also give some important tips of advocacy.
Good Things
Discipline had to be maintained at all costs. Sir, is strict but he makes sure that you learn and benefit from him as you complete the internship.
He keeps assigning work to the intern so that no time is wasted. He is very humble and thus the interaction with Sir is easy.

I was living with my cousin so accommodation was not a problem. there are various good PGs that are available in Saket.
Other Info
Tea in the office was very good. Select City Walk is a very famous mall in south Delhi and is ideal to spend some time in the mall, cafes are good nearby.
