How you applied?
An internship application form has to be filled which is given on the website.
First day formalities, infrastructure etc
On the first day, I was told to fill the joining form after which I was introduced to all the associates. It’s a spacious office and all associates and interns sit together so we can get work from anyone at any point in time. On my first day, I got some files that I had to read can come up with issues which had to be raised in the future proceedings.
Main tasks
The tasks I got were mainly filing exhibits, finding relevant and supporting judgments, drafting, research work etc. A brief introduction is given to you about the work that has to be done. The cases mainly compromise of Family, Taxation, Corporate, Criminal, etc.
Good things
There are many good things to list out. As a fourth-year intern, it was a great learning experience. All the associates are very friendly and they explained to me the work and also helped me.
I got an opportunity to deal with a wide range of cases and also the visits to the courts gave me an insight into the hearings and also taught me how matters are supposed to be presented before the courts etc.
Stipend
It’s a non-stipend internship.
Anything else, what you did to chill out, lessons learnt etc
All the associates are very open-minded and good in nature, they learnt together, and make chill together. The environment of the office is too good.
