First day formalities, infrastructure, first impression
On the first day, I was given the internship form to fill which served as a Non-Disclosure and then I was given a set of rules and regulation to read. I also had to submit my Internship Confirmation Mail along with a photo. The firm has a magnificent infrastructure and also provides a separate workplace for interns.
Main tasks
I was working with both the Corporate Department as well as the Company Secretary so my main task during the internship was to assist the Associates with the research work on the matters they were working on as well to assist in the preparation of Vendor Due-Diligence Reports.
I was asked to prepare news updates pertaining to Business (International and National) and recent circulars, notifications and orders of RBI, SEBI & MCA. I also learned how to fill e-Forms in XBRL like AOC-7, MGT-4 and other nuances of the Secretarial Practice etc.
Good things
The work environment is really good and friendly everyone was approachable. I was assigned work regularly and was always explained in detail how to go about it which helped me learn immensely. Additionally, there was no fixed supervisor so work could be assigned from anyone which definitely opened up several avenues to get experience in different fields of law.
They also have an education committee which would teach everyone about new aspects of the law once a month as well as colourful celebrations for Diwali and a well-stocked pantry.
Bad things
Both the good thing and the bad thing is the same, there can be at times, a lot of work. Therefore, if you are not looking for an enriching internship with the occasional late hours, then this is not your place. On the other hand, this is probably the best place for anyone who loves to learn, like me and you will be guided through the basics of a corporate transaction.

I stayed in a P.G opposite Taj Coromandel which is 200 metres away from the office

There are several places on KNK road which are extremely well done and worth visiting. Additionally, the associates are friendly so working with them would often be just like chilling.
