We came to know of Hope Foundation through one of their 5 member group.
We applied for an internship via email and received a confirmation within a week.

Duration. Timings.
13th May 2015 to 12th June 2015. 10 am to 4 pm.
First impression. First day formalities. Infrastructure.
Hope Foundation has many branches within Kolkata. We were working at the Lake Garden branch.
Our office was a really good place for working. However, the rooms were slightly small.
On the 1st day of our internship we were given a short orientation about our work which we were supposed to do letter on in our 4 week time.
Over all, it was good there.
Main Tasks.
We were supposed to conduct a campaign on Substance Abuse and Corporal Punishment in different places in Kolkata.
We also prepared for our campaigns in terms of making charts, preparing speeches, etc.
Work environment. People
Work environment was good.
People at Hope Foundation were co-operative.
Best Things.
Best thing about our campaign was that we really had a learning session there.
We came to know of the actual problems faced by the underprivileged and we also learn many laws related to our campaign.
Bad Things.
Over all my internship was good. I did not find any thing bad about it.

Biggest Lessons
We come to know how to manage time, and the main thing was that we get the practical knowledge about the society and the problem there.
We come to know the actual scene of a community that has a very low resource.
We also come to know many cases related to substance abuse, like what a family face when any one member of that family is engaged in that.
Any Other Thing
Overall it was really a good learning experience.
