I had personal recommendations but one can apply to Mr. Rakshit Tandon under whose guidance the internship is conducted.

First Day Formalities Initial Impressions

I was asked to report to the Commissioner Office, Gurgaon and then we were taken to Cyber Cell at Sec-51 where all the further classes were going to be held.

Main Tasks

The internship included interactive classes by Mr. Rakshit Tandon who himself is a Cyber expert and very humble person explaining about the ATM frauds, E-commerce scams, Online frauds and what not.

Every intern was asked to submit a ppt briefing his research on the topic assigned at the end of the internship. Some eminent experts use to also visit us to take special sessions pertaining to the knowledge of their specialized departments like Paytm and Airtel

Good Things

The special conferences at the Conference Room of Commissioner’s Office were the best things about the internship.

Bad Things

There were no bad things

Stipend

No, but receiving a certificate from Commissioner of Gurgaon Police himself was much more valuable than any amount of stipend.

Accommodation Commute

I was a resident of Gurgaon so I had no issues to travel to the Cyber Cell Sec-51 or Commissioner Office but one can take a PG nearby which is easily available.

Other Info

I learnt many things about all the precautions to be taken while online shopping, banking and most importantly the protection to be taken at Social Media sites.

Despite belonging to a law background, I think it’s a wonderful internship opportunity to all those interested in Cyber Law.
