I sent an application along with my CV to gmgs.ccl[at]coalindia.in. You can also send in your CV to gmhrd.ccl[at]coalindia.in. However, they don’t reply to emails frequently so you will have to go and meet them at the office.
FIRST IMPRESSION AND INFRASTRUCTURE
My first impression was good. I was introduced to all the employees working there. The infrastructure was good. The campus is very clean and beautiful.
MAIN TASK
My main tasks mostly included legal research, case study and observing how legal matters are carried out by the employees at Coal India Limited.
GOOD THING
The campus was clean and green. The managers and assistant managers who were guiding me were very friendly. The environment was very chilled out.
BAD THING
I found nothing bad.
STIPEND
No Stipend
ACCOMMODATION, COMMUTING TO OFFICE
Ranchi is my home town so I had no problem with accommodation and commuting. However, there are many PGs available in nearby areas. There will be no problem of commuting as various modes of public transportations are available throughout the city.
ANYTHING ELSE
If you stay in Ranchi, then you should intern here. You get to learn a lot here. You get an opportunity to learn and discover how legal matters are dealt with at Coal India Limited.
