First Day Formalities Initial Impressions
On the first day, we had to sign an undertaking, and later on, we were given some case files. I was a little scared as this was my first internship at a law firm. However, the associates of that company were very friendly and guided us throughout.
We were given a case file, hearing of which was the next day, so we were asked to read and make notes. The office is not a very big office, but spacious enough and comfortable too.
Main Tasks
- Our main tasks were to read the case files and prepare a case brief.
- Pursue research on various topics on Company law Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
- We also assisted in drafting notice, application, reply to an application/ legal notice.
- We followed them to Delhi High Court, Company Law Board, Debt Recovery Tribunal, to sit through and see the proceedings.
Good Things
The work environment was very good and friendly. I was very comfortable with all the associates. Everyone was very helpful and they would guide us through everything whenever we asked for.
It was a pretty good experience. One of the best things was that the associates were very friendly, and we would all have lunch together in a common room.

As I’m residing near Saket it would take hardly half n hour to reach there. I used to go through by metro. The nearest metro station is Lajpat Nagar metro.
