My main tasks included:
- Research work on topics related to Intellectual Property Rights.
- Writing articles on diverse issues pertaining to IPR.
- Creating PowerPoint presentations on current topics of IPR.
- Participating in many seminars and workshops.
Good things
The firm is well-known in the field of Intellectual Property Rights in India and is proactive to participate in many awareness programmes along with the Government bodies to educate the public at large the benefits and current issues of the subject.
Due to the constant calls from the various government bodies, Chamber of Commerce, and foreign institutions to highlight the current issues of Intellectual Property Rights, the firm is presenting all the practical findings and cases and whereby, the supporting team and the interns are involved to prepare such case details.
I assisted in organising and attended the East India- United States Symposium on Intellectual Property Law. I was introduced to several Government officials, entrepreneurs, professors and legal practitioners. It was an informative workshop and dealt with several IPR issues.
Bad things
No such bad thing.
Stipend
It is purely performance-based.
Accommodation to the office, commuting
Commuting to the office was not a problem. The firm is in a very well-connected location.
