Application Process

I had sent my resume to Mr. Safir Anand and Mrs. Sangeeta Sharma who was the internship coordinator at the time. I received the confirmation over mail from her in a couple of weeks time.

First Day Formalities Initial Impressions

On the first day, we were asked to reach the office at 10 am. The internship coordinator brief us about the rules of the office and the work we were supposed to handle. She divided all the interns accordingly to our previously chosen field of work.

Since I was in the Patents and Trademark department, I mostly had to communicate with the associates in that department. We were given our access cards, and desktops were assigned to each intern. We settled in the interns’ room and soon we started receiving work from the lawyers.

Main Tasks

Since I was in the Patent and Trademark department, my main task was to research propositions given by the associates. I had to summarize judgements and orders too. I had to collect evidence on behalf of certain clients. I also had to draft responses to questionnaires from the clients.

Good Things

The atmosphere at Anand and Anand is extremely welcoming. The associates were extremely understanding and patient with you.

They always explained to me the proposition in case I had any doubts. The food at the office was very delicious. They had free lunch for all on Wednesdays, which was really good. The all in all environment was very motivating and positive.

Bad Things

I do not recall any bad experience at Anand and Anand.

Accommodation Commute

Since I live in Noida, the commute would take me around 30 mins to reach the office.

Other Info

We had the option of ordering food from the outside, there was a TT table, in case we wanted to take some break. The research work delegated to us by the associates were extremely interesting.
