Duration of Internship and time

My summer internship at Abrise Legal was for approximate two months. The Office is opened five days a week (Monday to Friday).

Interns were supposed to reach the office at 10:30.A.M. and were allowed to leave the office by 6:30.P.M.

First-day impression

Since it was my first day of the internship, I tried to reach the office around 10 AM. Interns were asked to fill the details in the office diary along with their respective duration of the internship.

After completing all the formalities, I was given respective workstation at the conference room. Initially, I was introduced to Bhairavi Ma’am (One of the associates) who guided me on how to do the work.

Main task

Abrise Legal is a law firm dealing in all sorts of litigation and commercial matters. I assisted in Trademark Prosecution work at the office and also observed show cause hearing at the Trademark Registry Office located in Mumbai.

The Associates made me work on the ongoing litigation matters related to Intellectual Property. Later on, research work-related Insurance and Insolvency matter was handed over to me.

Best thing

The work environment of the office was amiable and Associates were ready to help us. It is the best place to work if one is interested in matters of litigation and commercial laws.

The Managing Attorney, Advocate Richa Joshi, is a knowledgeable person and always ready to guide us in the right direction.

Another perk of interning here is being part of the discussion with Associates on the ongoing issues in courts and trademark registry office.

In case one wishes to eat at good food joints or at interesting places, one could definitely move down from the building and find so many food points for the lunch.

I was offered great coffee at the intervals of our working hours which helped me to uplift my mood.

Stipend

The stipend is provided as per the work done by the interns.

Accommodation and Commuting

The nearby metro station is D.N. Nagar which is hardly 1.5 KM away from the office. There are also many auto rickshaws available for the distance between D.N. Nagar Metro Station and the office.

During my internship, I was staying in PG at Lokhandwala. One will not find any difficulty for accommodation as there were many PGs available near the office and Andheri (West) at a reasonable price.
