Application Process
I went through a personal contact.
Though you can apply through mail at advocatearvindgupta@gmail.com
Duration of internship and timings
4 weeks and 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
There were no first day formalities and on the first day I just roamed around the Court along with my Senior to acquaint myself with the court.
Main tasks
Assisted Counsel in preparing legal notices, complaints and suits, gathered basic knowledge about court procedures and rules, attended proceedings of Dwarka sessions and district court.
Work environment and people
There was only a junior Counsel and a clerk who assisted my Senior with his work.
Best things
The Court’s Canteen was quite cheap and had pretty nice food. I got to interact with some other Co-interns who were interning under different lawyers while reading in the Court’s library.
Bad things
On the first week, there was not much work to do and I was only given some files to go through.
