First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
On the first day, we had an introduction with Raj Sir, Raavi ma’am, associates and other co-interns.
Both Raavi ma’am and Raj sir were very friendly, though Raavi ma’am most of the times was bombarded with a lot of work but she made sure to interact with each intern personally.
She is an expert in civil, company, industrial, corporate, labour laws etc. Ma’am expects quality work from her interns. The work that was assigned to us was mostly research-based work and sometimes court visits as well.
The Infrastructure is amazing, wooden offices with large glass area a rich library, where one can get a number of books.
Main Tasks
There were multiple tasks allotted to an intern like finding the most suitable case laws, filing of cases, attending court proceedings and making notes of the cases. There was never a time one could be free because the work was regularly allotted.
Work environment and people
The work environment was healthy and chilled out. Ma’am and Sir were kind and helpful though sometimes strict. Even if you asked to explain the proposition twice or thrice, they were up for it. They did not just assign the work and be done with it but had in-depth discussions. No one made us feel like an outsider and everybody was cordial and warm with interns.
For the interns/ law students, who think that they will not get to interact with Seniors. It’s the best-suited place for them.
Accommodation
We live in Noida, which is a part of NCR, so commuting via metro was the most convenient for us. It generally took 1 hrs. to reach office.
The office is in close proximity to South Extension Metro Station. Nearest landmark is Marks and Spencer, South Extension, Part –II.
