First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
Aarohan is a NGO and majorly deals with women empowerment and education for all.
The first day was an introductory session where we were briefed about the timings and work allotments. We were assigned under Itismita ma’am who was our mentor. The infrastructure was fine.
Main tasks
The main task which were allotted were educating the children who use to come and study at Aarohan. Managing events like Children’s day carnival, AIDS Awareness Day etc. were also taken care off.
Going on field trips to near by slums at a walking distance and communicating with the people about their problems in the slums.
Work environment and people The work environment was friendly and the people were sweet.
