Application Procedure

Internship by DSLSA is conducted Biannual. For the first term in summer and for the second term in winter.

Anybody can search for application form HERE. In the month of November (in case of winter internship) and in April (in case of summer internship). 

After filling the form it is needed to get it attested by the head of committee which deals with such matters.

Send the application form to the DSLSA as notified by them.

Duration of internship and timings

The whole duration of internship is of 21 days with first day for orientation. Last day was for submission of report.

Timings were 11 AM To 4 PM, Weekends were off. The timings for different visit were in changing schedule.

This is the thing making internship in dslsa that all the place going to be visited has metro station near that.

Orientation 

At orientation we were called at hall of  DSLSA COMPLEX at Patiala House court, New Delhi.

Don’t forget to take your ID card of respective law College/University.

Formals are preferred for orientation. where different judges related to DSLSA committee address you about DSLSA formation and functions.

Tasks

Task was visiting all the places and make a report of them.

At orientation a tasks schedule was given and team coordinator chosen.

Everyday had different experience with different place like: Supreme court, District courts, Tihar jail, observation home, High court etc. A new day with new place visit with some new friends and some of same college

Dslsa gives different experience of different places necessary for any law student. This was much helpful for giving a view of real life work and conduct of different dept.

Best things

No pressure from authority related to tasks.

Something making you full of experiences and a good exposure of system workings.

Bad things

No stipend.
