Application process is based on the criteria of sending a mail or a hard copy to its main office with full filled form of DSLSA and Your CV.

I had applied for their ‘Summer Internship Programme- 2015’ by mailing the required documents into it.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

First impression: when we reached to the main office of DSLSA at Patiala House Court, it was very nice place, we are welcomed with gestures that made a good impression over us.

First Day Formalities: a form was given to us with a impressive orientation programme which was organised by DSLSA with their catalog mentioned the group name including the members and the place name where we will had to visit daily.

After that, a introductory session was held by their respective delegates, chairman and head coordinator.

Infrastructure: it has quite good infrastructure at their head office situated at Patiala House.

Main tasks

Every group has to made visits at different places daily within the capital city on different dates and time as mentioned in schedule provided to us by the team and to get the views on different legal areas the said legal organisation was working on it.

Work environment and people

If you work in your group wise, it will very easy to deal with the subjects where you visit.

When we considered the environment under DSLSA, it has not much but a good cooperative environment along with the staffs associated with it.

Every place has its own treatment with us but yes, it was a nice experience.

Best things

Everything is best according to me with the view of knowledge prospective.

It was a very good experience to know about the different legal departments associated with the legal field.

You will get to know the different legal departments associated with the legal field.

Interaction with different students from different law colleges, that also take part under the programme.

The best part is to roam all the sides of the city, and most importantly, the last day plan, it was like a ice on hot whether of Delhi, all tensions and stress was replaced by a good memories with my group friends and other group.

I know this internship will make you sometimes very hectic but believe me, after words you will feel blessed to be as a part of it in your past.

Bad things

Only one thing and was the hot whether of Delhi, which demoralized our passion towards our work.

Stipend

No stipend.

Biggest Lessons

DSLSA had changed my view towards the practical life, it was seriously very dangerous to live as a victim or as criminal in society and that life was shown by DSLSA to us.

According to me, every lawyer or a law student must have to know this things once in his/her life.

Accommodation

The work of this internship is based on different places everyday. So, I used to live in PG at Noida City centre near metro station with my 2 others friends who both are also interned under DSLSA.

Office Timings

Every place has its own opening timing.

Maximum visiting time is 10 a.m. and returning was depends upon the work.

Generally, a normal visit of those places and regarding that you may ask questions.
