First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
My first impression of the office was pleasing. Mr Banwari my Supervisor gave me some books to read which gives the brief idea about the NGO and its main task. He treated me very wel and on very first day itself make me feel comfortable.
The CUCAI’s building and location would not particularly give a sound idea regarding the level of the organisation and its work.
Main tasks
My main task was to spread the awareness regarding “Peace” by going to different organisations and making some presentations.
Work environment and people
Work environment is very friendly interns and the employees are treated equally. Some times we were given some task which we have to perform in different cities which makes everything more interesting with short trips. So, it was not only a internship full of learning but also a internship full of fun.
Best things
The best things working with CUCAI which one could get is a lot of experience compiled up with a lot of memories. I used to meet a lot of people in the during the visit at different organisations.
I got a good expose of public speaking and deal with the aggressions and mood swings of the people.The members of the Greenpeace are very supportive so with that support your confidence in doing anything boosts up automatically.
Bad things
The only bad thing was the internship being a field job, I had to travel a lot.
