Students just need to submit a bona fide certificate from their college allowing them to intern under the CGHRC.

If the student can not personally go and give the certificate in the office then they can send the same through post and inform the same via phone.

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

Students just need to submit the bona fide certificate and they will be briefed about their work, there’s no lengthy or hectic formality.

The infrastructure is okay.

Main tasks

The main task is to read the decided cases understand them and make a report on the same.

The only problem one can have going through this cases is that these cases are in legal Hindi which a bit tough in the beginning but you will get use to it and the staff is always their to help you.

Work environment and people

The work environment is very good, people help you with your doubts, any kind of doubts may it be legal or non legal.

I personally asked a lot of doubts to Mishra Sir, Law Officer and he always entertained my doubts even when he was overburdened with his own work.

So I personally think people over there are really great.

Best things

The people are really helpful and also this internship will improve your Hindi for sure.

Bad things

Some times the cooler didn’t work that’s the only bad thing.

Stipend

Knowledge that’s the only and most precious stipend you get.

Biggest Lessons

Biggest lesson is that if you wanna learn something then don’t expect someone to come to you and teach you every minute details.

First start with your bit, do your homework and then ask people to help you. If you are struck in between because no one will come and teach you, you are the one who has to take the initiative and ask to be learned.

Accommodation

I stayed at my relatives place.

Office Timings

For girls the timings are 11 AM to 2 PM

For boys it’s 2 PM to 5 PM

The timings are fixed but one can come early and leave early if he/she has appropriate reasons.
