As it was my first Internship, I was quite nervous and later I was introduced to Sir, and his Juniors at his Chamber’s, he asked me about my interests in the field of law and told me bit about the procedure that I have to go through and later, he asked his one of the juniors to make me go through how things are done at his place.

Main tasks

The main task involved case study and making notes about the same. They mostly deal with civil matters involving Education related matters mostly. You will be asked to read all the fresh cases that will be listed tomorrow and to make a notes about the same.

Then if you find a loophole or something then you can tell your seniors about the same, they might ask you to do some research on certain topics.

Everyday in Court you have to be with them, listen all the proceedings that are listed, even if you are lucky you may get a chance to assist in cases.

Work environment and people

Everyone you are working with are friendly, no one will be bossy around you. You might not get much chance to get in touch with Sir, but rest of the juniors will be all sitting with you.

You can ask as much questions regarding your work with your Seniors.

Best things

There are many best things about the Internship, mainly because i was a fresher and it was my first Internship, i was not the neglected one, like most the Firms don’t consider the freshers. You get to learn a lot from this internship.

Biggest Lessons

This was my first internship so I observed and learnt. I learnt how to research and type documents, learnt how to read files and know what is important.

It was awesome to work with him. I am fortunate that I got to work with him in my first internship. We had good days, bad days and the days on which I may have done better.

Accommodation

I Live in Allahabad, so Accommodation was not a problem for me. Well if you are from other city you can get PG at Cheap rate at around 5k-6k.

Office Timings

Court Timings: 10 am to 4 pm with 1 hour break.

Chamber Timings: 6 pm to 10 pm.

You have to be with the team all the time.

Well the timings were not so strict and in case of emergency you can ask any of his Juniors for leave.
