First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
I firstly went to the office of Mr. Sankap Kochar and on the 1st day he met me and told about basic work which one should do during an internship.
He then told me the schedule for the next day
And then I had time to look at the files and meet other associates.
Main tasks
Main task was to read case files of cases which had hearing in the court next day and observe court proceedings.
Sir sometimes allotted research work related to cases. And we were free to do research on any of the case. One can also learn drafting.
Work environment and people
Everyone in office was always ready to help and clear any kind of query whenever asked. Associates, in court and office are lenient and friendly.
Also office have AIR’S, bare acts and books. And all interns are free to pick any book whenever required.
Best things
Sankalp sir took every kind of case so during my internship I read a lot of criminal, civil and constitutional matters and could read cases according to my interest.
Bad things
The only bad thing is that there was not much work to do.

When I heard advocates arguing, I understood how mooting could help if one wants to go into litigation.

Accommodation
I stayed in a PG in Civil lines area.
It was very near to High Court. It was a clean and calm location as it Government Quarters of IAS, IPS and Justices.
Office Timings
From 10:30 to 4 we can visit court and attend court proceedings.
In evening I used to go to office from 6 pm to 8 or 9 pm depending upon the work.
