Chambers of Advocate Hemant Kumar, Connaught Place, New Delhi. 2 Associates.
Application Process
I directly approached Mr. Hemant Kumar and was awarded the internship.
Duration of internship and timings
May 2015 (2 weeks)
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The office is very small. There were no formalities as such.
Main tasks
I had joined him to work on my Court Diary so I mainly attended the court proceedings and read the case files to understand the cases.
Work environment and people
The work environment was relaxed as it is a startup and the two associates are very young.
Best things
Ample opportunity to learn and attend the court proceedings. The associates are young and easy to approach. You work with them as a team and are part of their achievements and at times failures as well.
Bad things
Nothing bad as such.
Stipend
No stipend for any intern.
Any Other Thing
If you want to start your own practice probably this office might be a good place to start off with, where you need to multitask and manage everything on your own.
