My father is a lawyer and he knows where I should do my internship so he said me to do internship under senior advocate Mr. Depesh Joshi. It was just a kind of interview and he called me in his office next day.

23rd February, 2015 – 16th March, 2015

First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

When I came to the District Court he told me to come to his office the next day. At first I was little frightened but when I met him in his office , then his nice behavior made my nervousness vanish. Then he gave me work to read case files which were dated the next day.

I was very excited then as I always wanted to go in litigation.First day was good.

Main tasks

To read the case file and make its brief.

Do the research work relating to that case.

Study the laws in detail, regarding the matter.

Work environment and people

The people present in his group (associates) were very supportive and of helping nature. Whenever I had a doubt in anything and when sir was busy, the associates helped me. The working environment can be called as fully encouraging and inspirational as every person there was doing their work and not wasting a single minute.

Best things

I got to know the actual working of the District courts.

I learned the application and practicality of the concerned cases and of those which I studied so far.

Learn how to present oneself in toughest situation.

Bad things

Sir was too busy to help me learn drafting.

Any Other Thing

Just got to know how much effort it takes to earn a BMW, as Sir owns one. Sir was always present in his office before time and I always saw him studying or doing his work.
