First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
I was asked to report to Court directly at 10 am sharp. He is associated with Chakraborty & Associates and therefore has a chamber in the firm itself. Since he knew me beforehand from my past internship at Chakraborty, he decided to allot me research work on cases and matters relating to company law and the consumer court.
Main tasks
Assisting him on cases of LIC, Coal India, Tata Motors, BSNL and other arbitration cases. Under taking research on SARFAESI and drafting of appeals for Consumer Court and filing of Writ and Interim Petitions.
Work environment and people
The people of the firm were very friendly and Mr. Hussain as well had a good stock of jokes and it really helped to rejuvenate our moods.

Learning from a person who is familiar with your capability and appreciates your work and is not afraid to give his interns high profile cases to work on.
