First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The first day impression was that of a typical private sector companies as one can imagine from the movies. The legal department was at the third floor and i was provided with the i-card for entry. I met the head of the legal department and then other members of the department. It was a small dept of around 5 people.
Main tasks
In the beginning, the main task was reading case files, different types of contracts like license deed, lease deed etc. Then, the work got more interesting when I learned drafting contracts. Apart from these, I also did the research on Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
Work environment and people
People were very helpful and the helped me whenever I faced any difficulty.
Best things
The best thing was that it gave an experience of working in a private sector. And as it was my first internship experience, I got to learn way more than I thought.
Bad things
The work tends to get a little monotonous at times.

Working in a private sector is not what I would want to do.
