I got this internship by personally visiting office of Mr.Eklavya Bahl which is situated at Office No. J59, Ground Floor, Lajpat Nagar, Delhi – 110024.

Duration of internship and timings
1st May 2013 to 13 May 2013. timings were from 10 am to 5 pm in Delhi High Court and sometimes back in office.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First impression was good. It was a chamber with sufficient space. We were interviewed by Mr.Eklavya Bahl and they took our photographs for making passes of Delhi High Court.
Mr. Eklvya Bahl was bold and genuine person.
He was with ease in understanding our mind set as budding lawyers and assigned work which was best suited for us.
Main tasks
Our main task was research work and case briefing to senior counsels. Apart from that, we were asked to regularly attend the Court proceedings to learn various tricks of trade.
Work environment and people
Working environment was not so strict. Their main aim was to provide us with best self-learning opportunities and let our infant minds explore the legal fraternity on its own.
Best things
Regular visits to Delhi High Courts was the best thing about this internships. Watching some of the big gems of Bar arguing was an inspiration for us.
Bad things
Not much of check and watch on interns.

Biggest Lessons
Self motivation is perpetual practice for becoming successful in field.
During this internship, one of the clerk narrated stories of eminent lawyers of Delhi High Court such as Mr.KTS Tulsi ji, Mr.Chandowk ji which were striked deep in our minds and made us more passionate to legal practices.
