First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure

We were attended to by Mr. Tarique himself, he is a learned advocate with a sheer sense of wit.

On the first day we were introduced with the firm and the tasks performed by them and the ongoing cases.

Infrastructure-wise, they have recently renovated their office hence are equipped with perfectly placed essentials.

Main tasks

Since the firm primarily deals with IPR and Insurance law we had to research case laws on the same for the proceedings.

Proof reading, dictation from the associates and if you are lucky enough (and seem to be capable enough), getting entrusted with some drafting work were the main tasks involved,

I successfully managed to draft a bail application at one go.

Work environment and people

Very cool and chilled out work environment.

If you aren’t able to complete your work in the office, you can bring your work home and submit accordingly.

But make sure to adhere to deadlines given by the seniors.

Best things

Every evening we used to party. After official hours we all would sit together forgetting the junior-subordinate lineage.

Biggest Lessons

If you have been trusted by your client you CANNOT make excuses for your failure. You ought to deliver to their expectations.

And ETHICAL ADVOCACY is the key word.
