Duration of internship and timings
I interned under Advocate Jaideep Verma for a month. My timings were from 9am to 5pm.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
On the first day I met sir and on the very first day he made sure I was extremely comfortable. All the associates are warm and helpful. Also, sir is very flexible and everyone is allowed to work as per their own convenience as long as you finish the task given to you.
Although the office isn’t huge, there is enough space to accomodate 3 to 4 interns. Also there are various books and journals available in the office which you can read as when you feel like.
Main tasks
Main tasks of the internship included – basic research work, reading fresh case files and trying to frame issues and visiting the trial court and listening to hearings.
Work environment and people
The work environment was pleasant and everyone in the office was warm, friendly and helpful.
Best things
Best thing about the internship, apart from the fact that there was a lot to learn, was that sir gave everyone enough space and we were allowed to work as per our convenience.

Biggest Lessons
The biggest lesson I learnt in this internship was that to be a good advocate you need to be a good listener and a flexible person. I also learnt that learning process never ends.
