The Saviours (Pune-Aurangabad) is a Blood Donation NGO and an active branch of The Saviours (India).
About the competition
The Saviours, seek to appeal to the Bibliophiles through their Book Review Writing Competition, 2019, by providing an opportunity to write a review of not more than 2000 words on any one of the following books:
- The Alchemist by Paulo Coehlo
- Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
- 1984 by George Orwell
- The Firm by John Grisham
Rules for the Competition
Compliance to the following is mandatory
- All Papers must be written in English and must be drafted in MS-WORD.
- Word Limit: 1500-2000 Words (Inclusive of Footnotes)
- Font: Times New Roman (Both Review and Footnotes)
- Size: Heading (20), Sub Heading (14), Content (12), Footnotes (10)
- Adherence to ILI Mode of Citation is mandatory. Kindly check the Link here.
- All the Articles shall be mailed to thesaviourspunechapter[at]gmail.com.
Marking
The Following shall be the basis of marking the Papers so researched by the Participants
- Understanding of the Book
- It’s interpretation
- Your Opinion
- Compliance to Mode of Citation prescribed, Presentation and Creativity
- Compliance to the Word Limit and Font Size
- Citation method so prescribed above
Prizes
First 3 Winners shall be awarded Medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze) and Certificate of Merit.
Certificate of Participation for one and all.

- No Co-Authorship is permitted for the said Competition.
