First Impression, First Day Formalities
I was formally briefed about the office policies and was assigned a mentor, and introduced to everyone in the office.I was informed about my timings and was assigned work on my first day. The first impression was good. The office is located in Bandra Kurla Complex and has good infrastructure.
Main Tasks
ARA Law is a boutique firm which specializes in Corporate Laws, M&A, Private Equity, Real Estate, Capital Markets, Venture Capital and Banking & Finance.
The main tasks assigned to me were legal research and writing articles. One get to deal with various PE & VC and M&A work which consists of research related to corporate laws like Company Law, SEBI Regulations, FEMA Regulations etc. I had to prepare notes on various topics and do research on assigned topics.The interns receive a feedback for their work.
Work Environment and People
The work environment is friendly, and the associates are very helpful. The associates always ensured that adequate help was given for any research task assigned and the work given is always evaluated.
Best Things
The work environment is very friendly, and the associates are always there to clear any queries and impart knowledge.Enough work is assigned to an intern to keep himself/herself occupied with work, with proper discussions and feedback mechanism for the same.
