DURATION OF INTERNSHIP AND TIMINGS
I did the internship for four weeks from Mid-April to Mid-May. The timings for an intern were from around 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment at the office was great. Its a small firm with a lawyer and two associates. The associates were the best – very friendly, helpful and efficient at the same time and they were ready to explain the smallest things.
They immediately made me feel very comfortable and welcome at the office. The lawyer was also great and very encouraging.
MAIN TASKS
I was mainly given research work in diverse areas of law spanning from contract law to company law to intellectual property rights and so on. I got the opportunity to attend the High Court, the Magistrate Court and the City Civil Court on multiple occasions.
I even got the chance to visit the Bangalore Mediation Centre. Apart from that I assisted the associates in drafting plaints and legal notices.
BEST THINGS
The best part of the internship was that everyone was so patient and willing to allow me to make mistakes so that I get a chance to learn. The Associates were extremely kind and very supportive.
BAD THINGS
There were no bad things about this internship.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
I had a wonderful internship experience and learnt a lot. Absolutely recommend this place for an internship.
