Name of Organisation, Location city, Team Strength
Chambers of Advocate Nikhil Kumar, Patna
Application Process with contact details
I had my personal contacts so I grabbed internship with him.
Duration of Internship and timings
15th June – 20th July, 2016
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
The first time I entered the chamber, I presumed it to be a good big, warm office.
But contrary to my wishes, the office was in the house of the advocate, therefore the office was quite small.
Main tasks
My main task in the office involved mainly research work.
In the morning you are given the list of all the cases with their courtrooms that will be taken up and you are expected to be in each and every case’s proceeding and are supposed to note down all the details that you can.
Work environment and people
Generally the maximum number of interns that are allowed to intern in the office are two and during my time I was the only one so it was difficult in the sense that there was no one to talk to as the associates will talk to you only when they will hand you the work, other times you don’t even exist for them.
Best things
Full guidance was given by sir.
Bad things
Nothing as such
Stipend
No stipend
Biggest Lessons
Litigation is all about manipulation
Accommodation
Stayed at my home.
Office Timings
10 am – 4 pm
