Advocate

The initial empanelment will be for the period of two years i.e. for the period 01.04.2019 to 31.03.2021.

Performance of empanelled advocates shall be reviewed at regular interval for continuance in the panel of Advocate. On completion of the empanelment period, extension/re-employment may be made considered based on the performance of the Advocate.

Eligibility

Qualification and experience for conducting cases in High Court. CGIT, CAT DCDRF SCDRC NCDRC and District and Session/Lower Courts:

• Be enrolled/registered as an advocate with the State Bar Council.
• Have a minimum, relevant experience of Ten Years of handling Civil, Service, Labour Matters, Land Acquisition, property laws, taxation, Arbitration matters and other cases before the High Court with a fair association with the Silk industry and Textiles.

Infrastructure Facilities: Advocates/Firms should have their own chambers in the High Court/District Courts and should have good office space with facilities like telephone, fax, computers, internet, etc.

The advocate/ firm must have adequate manpower. Provided that the Competent Authority may relax the above conditions at its discretion if otherwise found eligible in certain cases.

The last date of receiving Applications in the prescribed format along with supporting documents is 31.07.2019 at 4.00 PM.

Application for empanelment at CSB AND ITS UNITS does not confer any right/assurance whatsoever, to an applicant that he/she will be empanelled on the panel of CSB AND TS UNITS. Letters to advocates confirming their empanelment will be issued by CSB AND ITS UNITS separately.
