First Day Formalities
The office is situated in D Block, Lajpat Nagar, near the main market. The nearest metro station is Lajpat Nagar(Violet line). The office is in lower ground floor. One can either walk or take a rickshaw. The office itself is very aesthetically pleasing with Wi-Fi facilities, a mini library and AC as well. There is enough place to sit and work in peace. Each Intern is provided with separate desk with a computer system.
First day at office was extremely welcoming. It started with a formal introduction with all the associates and co- interns. All the associates were really sweet and helpful throughout the course of internship. I had an interaction with the partner of the firm Mr. Ramakant Gaur a few days later. He has a charismatic personality and not only nurtures highly professional work ethics but also appreciates a friendly work environment.
Main Tasks
I mainly worked on cases related to Petroleum laws, Customs Act, Money laundering Act, Land Acquisition Act, Drugs and Cosmetics Act.
You will always find some work and will not be left idle for long. However, the same also depends upon your keenness. The work is diverse and one can grab the opportunity of reading and researching on those laws which are generally not taught in law schools.
