He welcomed us and taught us about the Right to Information act.
He told us the whole procedure of working of the State information commission.
After some time each intern was assigned one Chief Information Commissioner (CIC).
Infrastructure of state information commission is really nice.
Fully AC.
Main tasks
State information commissions are the higher authority for complaining about RTI Applications.
So the main tasks was to sit with state information commissioner and see the proceedings. We got opportunity to see proceedings via video conferencing also.
Every day a new commissioner was assigned to the Interns.
Reading cases and watching state information commissioners grilling the public information officers was really a learning thing.
For getting a deep knowledge about right to information one should definitely do one internship in State information commission.
