Duration of internship and timings
I interned under them for 21 days.
My timing was from 10 am to 4 pm.
First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
First day we had our orientation programme.
We were briefed about the Companies Act.
Main tasks
Being law students we were told to be thorough with the Companies Act.
We had to deal with portions related to Corporate Social Responsibilities, were asked to come up with strategies which the NGO could use to acquire more funds from the corporate sector.
We had to present it in the form of power point presentation and were marked accordingly.
Work environment and people
Working in a NGO, I got to know that sometimes we don’t work for wages, but for satisfaction.
People out there are very helpful.
Best things
It is situated in Indranagar, which is one of the bustling areas of Bangalore.
There are a lot of food joints and places to shop nearby. Cafe Costa was one of my fav among them.
Bad things
Bangalore traffic can be a mess sometimes.
