First impression, first day formalities, infrastructure
District and sessions court indeed create a solid foundation.
My first impression of Sir’s office was something to talk about, question of fact and question of law, reading the statement, deposition of witnesses, n. no. of books and journals etc.
I was amazed to see the dedication and the hard work of Advocate Dinesh Pathak sir and other Advocates working in his office.
Library of his office is biggest in the District and I am sure its five times bigger than the office at District and sessions court.
Main tasks
My main tasks were to find the case laws, reading files etc.
Work environment and people
His office is all about working hard, and learning a lot.
The environment is healthy; associates there often share the lighter moments.
I think be it any field to achieve success inspiration plays a major role and I think one gets consistent inspiration there.
Sir always appreciates his associates works and yes interns too.
Best things
Best things are his library, his experience and to watch him cross examining the PWs.
Stipend
No Stipend, but one forgets about stipend when he sees the quality of internship experience one gets there.
Biggest Lessons
Art of cross examination.
