Greetings for the day!
We are pleased to inform you that School of Law, Christ University is organizing its Decennial Celebrations from 11th to 17th September 2017.
As a part of the celebrations, the Committee for Public Policy and Governance is organizing a National Legislation Drafting Competition 2017 on September 15, 2017, for which the participants are expected to draft a bill on the topic “Prison Reforms”. The final panel discussion shall be conducted on the basis of the six chosen drafts from among the submissions.
Other than being a joyous celebration on the completion of ten years of its establishment, SLCU’s Committee for Public Policy and Governance is dedicated to our institution’s belief in the cause of justice and in that spirit, the topic for the competition is related to a socio-legal issue which would provide a platform to the participants to discuss their propositions in this regard.
The following are the important dates:
Final Date of Electronic Submission of Registration Form- 31st July 2017
Final Date of Submission of Legislative Drafts- 20th August 2017
Announcement of Results for Panel Discussion- 4th September 2017
