There were no much formalities. My name was added in the attendance register and was told about the campus , court room , library and was asked to sit and observe proceedings.
Main tasks
There were two main tasks firstly to observe court proceedings and secondly to read files of cases which were disposed off.
Work environment and people
People there were not very strict, one can ask any query and everyone in the office if not busy was ready to help you. But while sitting in the court room, court manners were to be followed.
Best things
As it was my first internship as a law student, it helped to connect myself with the field as no much burden was put on me of work. This made me enjoy my internship.
Bad things
There was a very little to learn as we were allocated with almost no work.

Biggest Lessons
One must take initiative and ask for work if he wants to learn something out of an internship.
